2010 Shooting Schedule

 

 

 

   General Scheduling:

 

·        Thursday evening Matches:  Matches will start promptly at 6:00pm, so please arrive at 5:30pm for set-up if at all possible.

·        Air Gun Match: 2nd Saturday of each month (October thru April) sign-up at 8:30 am, first shot at 9:00 am.

·                                            Club meetings will be on the 3rd Thursday of each month, after the match.

·                                            Bench Rest: Shooters meet on Wednesdays each week, 8am to 4pm, visitors welcome.

 

NOTES: Target equipment consists of palm-rests, slings, shooting jackets, gloves, etc. Target equipment does not include safety equipment, shooting mat, or spotting scope.  Start times are at the discretion of the range officer due to weather conditions.  Matches are Lewis points unless otherwise specified.  22 Rimfire counts for 90 percent of the score in the Centerfire NMC and 85 % for 44/45 NMC. 

 

Indoor Range:

 

·                    No magnum loads.  No 17 HMR rounds.  Lower indoor range traps are for 22LR only.

·                    Shoot only at targets that are in the traps openings at the indoor range.

·                    Do Not shoot from in front of the defined firing line.

·                    Police your own brass

 

Outdoor Range:

High Power Rifle will have a league on Tuesday nights during June & July.

Participants with need the following equipment:
- hand gun, at least two magazines
- at least 12 rounds of ammo
- appropriate holster that is suitable for concealed carry
- fully covers trigger, no thigh rigs
- safely retains the pistol
- magazine carrier on belt for the two magazines
- hearing and eye protection

Main safety rules
   - muzzle control, keep muzzle pointed down range
   - keep finger off the trigger until sights are on target
